Founded in Los Angeles in January 2024, Nonfromseoul is a cultural hub bridging Korea and the United States — a platform built to connect Korean artists with new audiences on an international stage.

Our second invited artist is Lee.K. His practice begins with graphite drawing and the sensibility of black and grey tattooing — the artisanal discipline, the density of the hand, the craftsmanship of mark-making. From that foundation, his work has expanded into pure painting, shown at international art fairs across Seoul, Paris, Tokyo, Taipei, and beyond.

Lee.K moves fluidly across drawing and painting, craft and concept, subculture and gallery — embodying exactly what Nonfromseoul is built around: connection across different worlds.

This exhibition is not about a single genre. Nonfromseoul and Lee.K are becoming hubs for one another — building new directions for what connection can mean.
